Wayne M. Lopkin has been practicing real property law for his entire professional career. He is a 1980 graduate of The State University of New York at Buffalo Law School where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. Wayne Lopkin began practicing with the Proskauer Rose law firm, and was a member of the real estate transactional department before joining The Macklowe Organization, where he was General Counsel and a senior executive from 1988 to 1996. The Law Office of Wayne M. Lopkin LLC was founded in 1997. Mr. Lopkin is a long-time member of The Real Estate Board of New York, Association of the Bar of the City of New York and New York State Bar Association (Real Property Law Section), a peer-reviewed AV-rated attorney by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting the highest rating in legal ability and ethical standards, and has been selected for the 2012, 2013 and 2014 lists of New York Super Lawyers. From 1996 through 2006 Mr. Lopkin was a Trustee of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Southern New York Chapter and served as Board Chair from 2004 through 2006. He now serves on the Leadership Council of the New York City-Southern New York Chapter.
